Florida Beach Vacation
A Florida beach vacation is the quintessential American vacation choice. Everyone loves the beach and what better place to visit one than in Florida? Not only are there beaches in Florida but there are also a myriad of other attractions and places to visit, making Florida the number one tourist destination in the United States.
If you want to venture a little further from the beaches in Florida, there are some real treats in store for you. I’m talking about the natural variety that you can see, hear and swim with!
Spectacular creatures like sea turtles, dolphins, sharks, manatees, birds, starfish and crabs are all Florida natives. Snorkeling is a favorite activity amongst travelers; it is something you simply must do if you want to get up close and personal with the wonderful animals here.
Not only are there animals to be seen when you go snorkeling on a Florida beach vacation, there is also over 6000 coral reefs between Key Biscayne and the Dry Tortugas. That’s a lot of coral! You are not allowed to touch or take this coral as it is protected. You can of course go snorkeling and revel in being surrounded by such amazing nature.
Fort De Soto Park’s North Beach has been named as the best beach in America, so make sure you visit to find out why! Some other popular Florida Beaches include Bradenton Beach, Clearwater Beach, Pensacola Beach, Daytona Beach, West Palm Beach and of course Miami Beach.
Miami Beach has many residents from Cuba, Haiti and various Caribbean and Latin American countries giving it a truly international and exotic feel. Tanned bodies abound, you really feel like you're in a movie set at Miami Beach (and this place has indeed been used in many movies and TV shows!)
Regardless of which beach you choose, you are sure to have an enjoyable Florida Beach Vacation.
